The Baltimore Ravens celebrating 20 seasons in 2015.

Ahead of the 2015 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens have decided to show off some plans to celebrate 20 seasons in the NFL.

With any anniversary, it’s nice to make a big deal about it.

First things first. Dress yourself up by adding something nice to your outfit.

The Ravens have added a “20 Seasons” patch to their jerseys to commemorate the occasion.

As seen in the tweet above, the patch incorporates a few key elements.

The first element that sticks out the most is the roman numeral XX which equals 20.

The Roman numeral is crowned by the Ravens head logo which I believe is the most recognizable logo for the team. It is the same logo that resides on both sides of the black helmets worn by players.

Below the Roman numeral is a gold banner that says “20 Seasons 1996-2015” in white.

The entire patch is in the shape of the Ravens shield logo that can be found on the sleeves of each jersey and at the 50-yard line at M&T Bank Stadium.

At the bottom of the shield is the Calvert and Crossland coat of arms, both of which make up the Maryland state flag.

The Maryland flag is also found on the Baltimore Orioles uniform patch while the flag has helped shape a college athletic programs brand. Something the Maryland Terrapins like to call, Maryland Pride.

All-in-all, the patch is well done and does not take away from the rest of the Ravens uniform.

The second piece to celebrating an anniversary is remembering all the history.

So, if you are a Ravens season ticket holder, your tickets will show the team’s history through some of its favorite players as voted by the PSL (Personal Seat License) owners.

The players who will appear on tickets are as follows: outside linebacker Peter Boulware, quarterback Joe Flacco, tight end Todd Heap, running back Jamal Lewis, linebacker Ray Lewis, tackle Jonathan Ogden, safety Ed Reed, kicker Matt Stover, outside linebacker Terrell Suggs and guard Marshal Yanda.

Here is a video that commemorates some of these players as well as great moments in the Baltimore Ravens 20 seasons in the NFL.

Two Super Bowls. Two Decades.

Baltimore Ravens history continues to be written.
