Breaking Down the Baltimore Ravens Schedule
By Joe Serpico
Week 6: San Francisco 49ers – Oct. 18, 2015 (4:25 p.m.)
2014 Record: 8-8
Head-to-Head Record: 4-1
Last Meeting: Ravens 34 – 49ers 31 (Feb. 3, 2013)
You are probably not reading this if you do not remember their most recent matchup. At first, it seemed like it would be a blowout. Then, the power went out at the Superdome, and the shootout was on.
The 49ers will forever be a part of Ravens history, as Baltimore claimed its second Super Bowl win following a dazzling postseason by Joe Flacco and Jacoby Jones. It was also the first time in NFL history that brothers were opposing head coaches in a Super Bowl.
The 49ers have now fired Jim Harbaugh, and John will seek to get some revenge for his brother. San Francisco could be rebuilding this year, and Baltimore has won the last four between the two clubs.
