Twitter reacts to Melo Trimble returning to Maryland for sophomore season
By Cory Forsyth

Maryland Terrapins announce that Freshman All-American, Melo Trimble will return to College Park for his sophomore season.
When major announcements like this happen on April Fool’s Day, it is easy for online readers to discredit the story and move on.
Let me be clear. This is not an April Fool’s Day joke! MELO TRIMBLE IS COMING BACK!
The Maryland Terrapins released a press statement this morning on their website announcing the news all Maryland fans have been awaiting. Trimble will not be a one-and-done player but has chosen to build on this year’s success in a return to College Park for round two.
Now that we are certain about Trimble’s future, and with the commitment of 5-star center Diamond Stone, everyone can sit back and dream about Johnny Holiday saying these six words next season.
“Trimble to Stone for the jam!”

A Maryland native, Trimble helped the Terps get back to the big dance while setting a school-record with 26 regular season wins and averaging a team high 16.2 points per game.
With this news, you can now #StayMelo for the rest of April Fools and get excited for the 2015-2016 college basketball season.

Stone's right. Melo is already one of best pick-and-roll PGs in the country. Give him a legit option to pass to and how does defense react?
