Ravens: NFL Combine Day 3 Recap of D-Line and Linebackers
By Cole Moog
The Baltimore Ravens’ front seven is easily the biggest strength of this team. Therefore I don’t see the Ravens taking a huge interest in Day 3. However, the Ravens’ front office does enjoy taking the best player available and showed that when they took defensive tackle Timmy Jernigan in the second round last year.
If Haloti Ngata becomes a cap casualty, the Ravens then could look for a developmental player in the middle rounds, but even then they have two young studs in Brandon Williams and Timmy Jernigan.
The Ravens could however look for an edge rusher because of the age of Terrell Suggs and Elvis Dumervil. If Pernell McPhee leaves in free agency, which looks to be the case, then they could search for a young edge rusher that could have an instant impact.
So let’s take a look at what might interest the Ravens in terms of defensive line players and linebackers.
