Although many have been saying that rookie Connor Shaw put up a good performance on Sunday, I would beg to differ. He completed just half of his 28 passes and totaled merely 177 yards, throwing no touchdowns and one interception.

Again, even this depleted secondary of the Baltimore Ravens is expected to play well against an undrafted quarterback making his first career start, but give credit to this group where credit is due. They actually played well on Sunday and minimized the Browns big-yardage plays.

However, going up against Ben Roethlisberger and the year that he is having, they could very well get torn to shreds next week. That is what I, and most Ravens fans, are most scared about for next week’s game in the Steel City.

Grade: A (straight A’s for the defense!)
