As always, Daryl Smith and C.J. Mosley were the top two leading tacklers with nine and seven respectively. Mosley has finished the season with 133 tackles, which falls in at seventh in the league. Smith totaled 128 taackles, tenth-most in the league.
Although Elvis Dumervil failed to record a sack in the season finale, Terrell Suggs did get one, finishing with a season total of 12 sacks. The two combined recorded 29 sacks on the season.
In my humble opinion, the linebacking was the best group for Baltimore this season. They functioned as the best group of middle linebackers, and the best pass-rushing tandem in the league. And the good news is this: They will have this core together for at least another three years.
