Okay, so I got a bit of heat for my grade on the special teams last week. I gave them an F despite blocking a punt and returning it for a touchdown. Let’s get something straight: that grade that I gave them was a total joke. See here in Baltimore we look at Justin Tucker to be an automatic machine. His missing two field goals, no matter the distance, is like the world ending. That is all.

Though Tucker did not attempt a field goal in this game, positives did come out of this group. Jacoby Jones had his best day returning in Week 16. He returned four kickoffs for 122 yards (30.5 yards per return) and returned one punt for 45. Now that’s the Jacoby I know.

As for Sam Koch, he was quite busy on the day. He booted eight punts and did a great job as always. He totaled a season-high 403 yards on his punts, averaging 50.3 yards on each of them.

Grade: A+
