The winter solstice happens around 6:00 this evening, marking the official beginning of winter. Really? It’s just now beginning? I’ve been freezing for weeks and there has been no Baltimore Orioles baseball in two months … and you’re telling me that winter is just NOW beginning?

So, while being deprived of sufficient vitamin D from a lack of sunshine, and while fully engulfed in a case of seasonal affective disorder, I thought I would make a David Letterman style list of the top ten reasons to hate the baseball offseason.
