The ground game will again take precedence

Justin Forsett and the Ravens’ ground game has become the focal point of the offense. In the past two weeks, Forsett has racked up 42 carries for 294 yards and four touchdowns. There is no reason to expect anything different against a Chargers defense that gives up 4.4 yards per carry.

A point I have continued to harp on is how the Ravens like to pound the rock late in the season. With the Chargers’ weakness defending the run, the Ravens have a good chance to rack up a nice total.

Guys like Darren McFadden, Ronnie Hillman and Jamaal Charles have all had good games against this defense. Forsett should too. And the opportunities will be there. The Ravens ran the ball 32 times compared to 24 passes against New Orleans. As long as they aren’t playing from behind, expect a similar ratio against the Chargers.
