The secondary displayed what was probably its best performance of the season against Tennessee. They struggled mightily in the first quarter; but after that, they buckled down and played very good football.

No receiver on the Titans caught more than four passes, and only one player recorded over 50 receiving yards. That player was Kendall Wright, who caught four passes for 53 yards. There were also some good signs coming out of the defensive backs from this game.

In the third quarter, tight end Delane Walker appeared to have caught a pass on third down over the middle of the field, but safety Terrence Brooks came in and leveled Walker. Newly-acquired Danny Gorrer also showed some bright spots, grabbing the game-sealing interception with under three minutes to go.

All I have to say is this: Much Better! (Oh and double photo creds to whoever took that picture)

Grade: A (Solely based on improvement)
