Much like Flacco, starting running back Justin Forsett got off to a slow start in this game. However, he made a large impact in the second half. Of course the 37-yard run that he recorded in the fourth quarter helped his total, but nonetheless, he rushed for 112 yards on 20 carries and most impressively, two touchdowns.
Bernard Pierce performed pretty well at times in this game, but he eventually only rushed for 31 yards on eight carries. It boggles my mind how Lorenzo Taliaferro only received three carries in this game.
My bet is that Forsett will not perform in the second half of the season as well as he did in the first, so with that being said, they will have to spread the ball around more to all three backs.
