Michael Oher will not get called for a false start
For some reason, Baltimore Ravens fans are obsessed with seeing Michael Oher get called for multiple false starts Sunday as he returns to Baltimore.
Oher might make his share of mistakes Sunday. In fact, he probably will. But he will probably be focusing intently on the snap count, not wanting to bait the home crowd into a raucous cheer.
Several holding calls are much more likely, as Oher was guilty of numerous holds throughout his career. Having a reputation for holding works against Oher, as well, as referees know to watch him for that particular foul.
More to the point, Oher will have an extremely difficult time trying to block the three-headed monster of Pernell McPhee, Terrell Suggs and Elvis Dumervil. So Ravens fans should satisfy their blood-lust, but it won’t be because of false starts.
