Stevenson University women’s soccer team is set to play for the Commonwealth Conference championship at Mustang Stadium on Saturday November 8. They defeated Arcadia Wednesday night 1-0 to advance to the final game against Messiah College. Mustang Stadium is located at the University’s Owings Mills campus.

Sophomore Alexis Siejack scored the goal in the 12th minute while freshman goalkeeper Tiffany McKee made three saves.

According to the Stevenson Athletic Department…

"“Stevenson (10-5-4) extended its unbeaten streak to nine-straight while recording its 11th shutout in 19 games this season. During that stretch, the team has allowed just one goal while outscoring its opponents, 23-1.”"

This will be the third-straight time that the women face Messiah in the conference title game. Messiah is  an impressive 19-0-1. They are led by Nikki Elsaesser and Macaulay Soto who were Commonwealth Conference Offensive Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year, respectively.

The game on Saturday is at 7:00 p.m. Tickets will be $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, $2 for students and free for children six and under. The football game versus Wilkes has been pushed to start at an earlier time, 12pm, to accommodate the soccer championship game.
