Justin Forsett was easily the best free agent signing, not just for the Baltimore Ravens, but in the entire NFL.
The Ravens signed Forsett to a one-year deal on April 4th and he slowly moved up the depth chart to take over the starting role. He initially was behind Ray Rice and Bernard Pierce on the depth chart, but due to Rice’s legal troubles and Pierce’s performance troubles he took the reins in Week 3. He outplayed Pierce in Week 1 and is now the NFL’s fourth leading rusher.
Forsett is a key reason why Flacco and the offense as a whole have been successful this season, along with Gary Kubiak‘s new system.
