As I say every week, the secondary is the biggest hole on the Baltimore Ravens roster. This week though, they did manage to perform pretty well against a tough Falcons receiving corps.

Roddy White did catch nine passes for 100 yards through the air, but he was targeted 15 times. Julio Jones was targeted eight times, and he was held to under 60 yards. Matt Ryan completed 29-of-44 passes for only 228 yards on the day.

A couple of players that Ravens’ fans are looking to come to life did just that on Sunday. Lardarius Webb and rookie Terrence Brooks both recorded six tackles on the day and looked pretty impressive in coverage. Getting them involved will be key to the secondary’s success.
