The Falcons’ anemic pass rush will come to life against the Ravens

The Falcons have just six sacks through the first six games of the season, a big reason for their 2-4 start. Jonathan Massaquoi, though, cannot be blamed. He has been the team’s most effective pass rusher despite playing just 168 snaps this year. His playing time is rising, and with it, the Falcons sack totals should too.

The Falcons would be wise to attack rookie left tackle James Hurst with the athletic Massaquoi. Hurst has been OK but can be beat with speed.

Osi Umenyiora still has some burst left as well. Between Massaquoi and Umenyiora, the Falcons have the personnel to get to Joe Flacco, even if they have yet to rush the passer effectively this season.
