Will Hill Eligible to Return This Week

The Baltimore Ravens might get a much-needed boost in their secondary in Week 7 when third-year safety Will Hill returns from his six-game suspension.

Hill spent the first two years of his career on the New York Giants and was signed by the Ravens prior to the season’s start. The big thing for him has been his physicality and tackling abilities.

In his rookie year, he recorded only 38 tackles. However, in 2013, he put up very impressive numbers, accumulating 77 tackles and two interceptions. With the way that this Ravens’ secondary has been performing this season, they will take those numbers in a heart beat.

Jimmy Smith has been the only positive back there. Lardarius Webb has battled injuries throughout the year, Chykie Brown and Asa Jackson are still trying to get used to an NFL system, and starting safety Matt Elam has just flat-out looked terrible in coverage.

Webb and Elam are extremely talented players and I think they will come through, but until they do, the Ravens need help. That is why Will Hill could be the most underrated acquisition for the Ravens this past offseason.

Everyone forgets how good this guy is. He can be an impact player instantly, and the Ravens are certainly excited to see what he can do come Week 7.
