Best: C.J. Mosley

C.J. Mosley was a terror in this game, shedding blocks and finishing plays with strength and toughness. His 15 tackles were well-earned, as he consistently defended both the run and the screen game effectively.

A blemish on his otherwise sterling performance was Mosley’s struggles in coverage against the Colts. He looked tentative at times and may lack the athleticism to consistently defend opposing receiving threats (including some tight ends).

Every time Mosley made a mistake, though, he followed it up with a good play. The rookie does not lack for confidence or toughness, and as he continues to develop, the mistakes should become less frequent. All things considered, Mosley was a stud.
