The O-line was terrific today both in the passing game and the run game. This came as a bit of a surprise, as the Ravens found out earlier this week that starting left tackle Eugene Monroe would miss 3-4 weeks after undergoing knee surgery.

However, his replacement performed surprisingly well. James Hurst signed with the Ravens as a rookie free agent in May after serving four years as a starter for the North Carolina Tar Heels. He played very well against Carolina, paving the way for 127 yards on the ground and two rushing touchdowns. He also pushed Lorenzo Talieferro into the end zone late in the game to give the Ravens a 35-10 lead. That is a veteran move right there.

Everyone else looked comfortable in the offensive scheme and hopefully the success up front will continue.
