The Baltimore bullpen has been lights out this year. Even with Matusz and Hunter getting of to slow starts, they were able to rebound and dramatically lower their ERA’s.

By the luck of the draw, young stud Kevin Gausman will have to settle for the bullpen in the 2014 postseason. He pitched very well in his first full year in the bigs, but unfortunately for him, there were four pitchers in the starting rotation that pitched better.

If the Orioles have the lead heading into the seventh inning, there is a pretty large chance that they will win the ballgame. The reason is because they have the best 7th-8th-9th inning tandem in the league with Miller, O’Day, and Britton respectively. Each of those pitchers have remarkable ERA’s of under two and they have all played almost the entire season. Incredible stuff right there.

Brad Brach has emerged from nowhere and has made a big impact on this team. He has a 3.00 ERA in 43 games this year with a record of 7-1. And he is the Orioles fourth-best relief pitcher. Again, it is just incredible how well the bullpen has performed this season.
