Joe Flacco has looked sharp to start the 2014 season. He hasn’t been flashy, but he is back to being Joe Flacco after an abysmal 2013 campaign. This game was no exception.

He made few bad throws and more good throws. Again, there was nothing flashy about his performance, but he got the job done.

He completed 19-of-31 passes attempted for 217 yards, one touchdown, and one pick. He also made a couple of huge passes late in the game, including a big 32-yard pass to Steve Smith Sr. with under two minutes to go, setting up the game-winning field goal.
