When the Baltimore Ravens last played the Cleveland Browns, the Browns won. To call that a disaster is an understatement.
The Ravens allowed Jason Campbell to throw for three touchdowns with no interceptions. The Ravens’ tailbacks combined for 17 carries for 28 yards. Greg Little(!) had seven receptions for 122 yards. What a disgrace.
This year’s Browns team is much better, with a quarterback who takes care of the ball and has a ton of moxie. An athletic defense and a talented stable of young running backs cements the Browns’ status as significantly less awful than last year.
Ravens writers and analysts have been warning fans not to take the Browns lightly, calling this a trap game. It’s not. The Browns are too talented to trap anybody.
That’s a bold claim. To go with that bold claim, here are some bold predictions for how Sunday’s game will unfold.
