The surprise of the game came at this very position. It wasn’t at the wide receiver position. It was at tight end. Former Houston Texans tight end Owen Daniels was acquired by the Ravens in the offseason, and it paid dividends on Thursday night. He caught two touchdowns in the game, which ended up being the only touchdowns of the game.

Fellow tight end Dennis Pitta had a couple of huge third down conversions, and ended the day catching three passes for 30 yards.

However, the biggest impact came from the smallest player. Steve Smith Sr., the 5-foot-9 veteran receiver, led the team with six receptions for 71 yards. For a 35-year old, he looks pretty young to me, posing nice speed and some beautiful moves and jukes. He will be key for the Ravens down the stretch.

Grade: B-
