For the first time this season, we had a happy recap, and now, we will have happy grades.

It was a pretty happy night, as the Baltimore Ravens took care of the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football, tearing them apart in the national spotlight and snatching a 26-6 Week 2 victory. There were several positives to come out of this game and very few negatives. Everyone looked good.

The defense looked like the defense back in the 2000’s, when they were constantly a top-three or four defense. Everyone was flying around, making tackles, making stops, forcing turnovers, and just making plays throughout the game.

The offense also put on display a nice performance on Thursday. Joe Flacco looked razor-sharp finishing with a passer rating of 109.3. After rushing only 19 times last week, the run game tallied 36 carries this week, and as I said last week, you have to run the football to win in this league. Sure enough, they ran, had success on the ground and won the game.

Let’s break it down in a little more detail for you, with these position by position grades.
