Rick Wagner’s story closely mirrors Gino Gradkowski‘s. A mid-round pick gets a year of limited action, then is thrust into the starting lineup.

Hopefully, Wagner’s story does not mirror Gradkowski’s in terms of results, since Gradkowski was the worst center in football last year.

There will be some growing pains, but Wagner has the full confidence of the coaching staff. Take note of how he performs to see if that confidence is justified. The Ravens can’t afford another swing-and-miss on a young starting offensive lineman.
