Joe Flacco looked really good in the first half of this game, albeit against a very poor Washington Redskins defense. He completed 16-of-23 passing attempts on the night totaling 180 yards through the air. He capped off his night with a 24-yard touchdown pass to the newly-acquired Steve Smith, who made a sliding grab for the score.

As for Tyrod Taylor, he used his legs in most of this one, but he threw one pass that looked particularly impressive. At the end of the third quarter, the Redskins cut the Ravens lead to three, but Tyrod Taylor executed an eight-play, 71-yard drive and capped it off with a methodical 21-yard touchdown pass to third-year receiver Deonte Thompson.

It might have very well been Taylor’s best pass of his four-year career and it capped off a night where he went 6-for-9 with 65 yards and a touchdown. Check out the play right here.
