I cannot emphasize enough on how improved the O-line has looked in the first couple of preseason games compared to last year. A healthy Kelechi Osemele and Marshal Yanda, coupled together with the re-signing of left tackle Eugene Monroe and the newly-acquired Jeremy Zuttah, have paid dividends for the Ravens so far.

The starting line participated in most of the first half and paved the way for Bernard Pierce and Ray Rice, who totaled 76 yards on nine carries.

Although the pass protection has looked good, I am even more excited about the run blocking, because last year was a disaster in that aspect.

The backup lineman however, looked absolutely terrible as they gave up three sacks in the second half, and if it weren’t for Tyrod Taylor’s athleticism, they would have given up more.

Grade – B- (A+ for the starters, D- for the backups)
