  • All 14 Big Ten coaches as well as a select number of players from each team will swarm downtown Chicago for what should be a B1G two days for the conference.

The Maryland Terrapins officially became a member of the Big Ten on July 1, 2014 and will be participating in their first ever Big Ten media day.

Head Coach Randy Edsall has made the trip with C.J. Brown (Sr. QB), Stefon Diggs (Jr. WR) and Jeremiah Johnson (Sr. DB).

Each of them will take to the podium where they will be questioned by the media.

Some questions that we could probably hear are…

    • How will Maryland handle the Big Ten conference schedule?
    • Are there any differences in preparation for a new conference?
    • What teams in the Big Ten will become rivals?
    • Uniforms. Probably lots of uniforms questions.

It is expected that the Big Ten will make a big deal of both Maryland and Rutgers during the media days as they are both entering their first year in the conference.

These next two days will be a great opportunity for Maryland to make their case that they are ready for the Big Ten competition.

With a veteran quarterback in C.J. Brown and the healthy wide receiver duo of Stefon Diggs and Deon Long, this Maryland team will be one to watch.

If this team can stay healthy, there is no telling what they are capable of.
