The Baltimore native is one of five scholarship players to transfer since last season. Faust first committed to Oregon State but then continued the search after Beavers head coach Craig Robinson was fired shortly after his commitment.
After a junior year which was sub-par and found Faust coming off the bench, it is no secret that this once exciting Maryland commit is looking for a place to shine before his college career is over.
Faust averaged 9.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2 assists in his junior season.
Due to NCAA rules, Faust will have to sit out the 2014-2015 season but will look to play a major part in his senior year.
The 49ers finished 15-17 last season after starting 1-9 under head coach Don Monson, who is in his seventh year at the after coaching at Gonzaga and Minnesota.
After three season playing for the Terps, we wish Nick the best in his education and basketball career. Thanks for the memories.
