Washington Wizards’ John Wall and Boston Celtics’ Jae Crowder exchanged words following the game, leading to a heated altercation.

As players of the Washington Wizards and Boston Celtics walked off the court to their respective locker rooms after the game, John Wall and Jae Crowder remained on the court as the two exchanged words.

In what seemed as casual trash talking between the two quickly escalated into a heated postgame altercation as Crowder put his finger in Wall’s face. Wall responds by reaching out slapping back at Crowder not once, but twice, before the two were separated.

Here’s how it played out:

Both teams continued to exchange words as they walked off the court and into the locker room and according to ESPN’s Chris Forsberg, Boston police officers were called on to stand between the team’s locker rooms.

Things first got heated between the two teams when Bradley Beal and Marcus Smart had to be separated after the two got tangled up and jawed at each other. in the third quarter. Somehow, only Beal received a technical foul in the third quarter after Smart literally was laying under Beal, causing the Wizards’ shooting guard to fall over.

To make matters worse, CSNmidatlantic.com’s J. Michael reported that John Wall received a Xray on his left wrist after the game, the same wrist Wall fractured two years ago in the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Atlanta Hawks.

Fortunately, Wall’s Xray results came back negative on his wrist. The next step for Wall is to undergo MRIs tomorrow as the Wizards don’t play again until Saturday when the Wizards host the Philadelphia 76ers.
