Several players have surprised the Baltimore Ravens during training camp thus far. Let’s look at three players that have stood out the most.

Every training camp, there are players that come out of the woodwork and surprise us all. That is no different this season at the Under Armour Performance Center.

The Baltimore Ravens are one day away from kicking off the 2016 season against the Carolina Panthers. This is a time for some players to finally show what they are made of, but a couple guys are already turning heads at practices.

There will be several starters that do not take the field Thursday night as they recover from injury. Head Coach John Harbaugh gave great news that Terrell Suggs, Elvis Dumervil, Breshad Perriman and Steve Smith will be ready for Week One, but it remains to be seen if we see them at all in preseason. The veterans do not necessarily need to get on the field, but it would be great to see Perriman get some work in before the start of the season.

Some players are taking advantage of the absence of the players on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list and could be earn a roster spot as a result. The Ravens have had only one major injury – Bronson Kaufusi is out for the year with a broken ankle – but several players have dealt with nagging injuries to keep them out of a few practices.

Others do not care who is on the field. This is their moment to shine. Here are three unexpected players that have stood out the most during camp.
