The Baltimore Ravens will take the field for their first full-team practice on Thursday. Here is our prediction of the 53-man roster at this point of the 2016 season.

We have reached that time of the summer. Football is back in Baltimore.

The Baltimore Ravens will take the field tomorrow at 9 a.m. for their first team practice. They are coming off a terrible 2015 campaign, but General Manager Ozzie Newsome was very active this offseason to overhaul the roster.

There are several new faces that should have an instant impact for the franchise. That begins with first-round pick Ronnie Stanley, who the Ravens are asking to be the protector of Joe Flacco’s blindside for years to come. Baltimore exited the draft with a solid group of rookies and several could compete for playing time right away.

They also brought in some key pieces during free agency with the additions of Eric Weddle, Mike Wallace, Ben Watson and Jerraud Powers. They also made some low-risk, but potential high-reward moves with Trent Richardson and Jake Long coming into camp.

Ozzie knew he had to make some changes and was aggressive in doing so this offseason. The Ravens 53-man roster will definitely have a different look heading into the 2016 season.

The Ravens will begin camp with six players on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list: Terrell Suggs (Achilles), Elvis Dumervil (foot), Steve Smith (Achilles), Breshad Perriman (knee), Trent Richardson (leg) and Jumal Rolle (Achilles). All are expected back at some point during training camp, with the exception of Rolle, who is out for the season.

There will be several storylines to watch during training camp as the Ravens have a handful of positions that will be up for grabs this summer. Injuries will also play a factor in the upcoming weeks and the roster will be adjusted accordingly when they do arise.

Here is our guess at the 53-man roster on the eve of Ravens’ training camp.
