The Baltimore Ravens have made a lot of moves this offseason. We rank the top three acquisitions they have made heading into the 2016 NFL season.

The Ravens knew they needed to shake things up coming off a 5-11 season. They attacked this offseason aggressively in an attempt to get back into the AFC Playoff picture.

It’s been a wild offseason to say the least. They cut some key veterans in Daryl Smith and Chris Canty. Kelechi Osemele is now playing with the Oakland Raiders. The Ravens also have a long list of players still on the mend from injury. That did not stop the Ravens from making big moves all offseason.

Many felt the Ravens would not have the cap space to be active in free agency. We all were wrong. They reached deals with several players to reduce their cap number, and added Eric Weddle, Ben Watson and Mike Wallace in the first wave of free agency. They recently added cornerback Jerraud Powers, who will not count against the Ravens compensatory picks.

Baltimore exited the 2016 NFL Draft with a questionable class. There will be much debate about whether Ronnie Stanley was the right choice at No. 6. The Ravens did not draft a middle linebacker and still have a hole to fill there. They also waited until the fourth round to add a cornerback and wide receiver.

There are a bunch of moves that General Manager Ozzie Newsome made that could be an important factor in whether the a Ravens make the turnaround back to their winning ways that will not make our top three. Powers could end up being the starting corner. Watson will make some plays on offense. Steve Biscotti wanted pass rushers and a handful of rookies could register sacks this season. Reynolds will be a fun story to watch and could make an impact early in special teams. Who knows what the they get from Trent Richardson.

The Ravens added talent to the roster. Now it’s up to the coaches to make the most of it. With that said, three players have the best chance to be a factor this season, starting with Joe Flacco‘s newest downfield threat.
