The Baltimore Ravens quarterbacks had a disappointing year. Here are our grades for their performance during the 2015 season.

2015 Grades: QB | RB | WR | TE | OL | DL |

The Baltimore Ravens dealt with many injuries in 2015, but none was more difficult to replace than at quarterback.

Joe Flacco suffered a knee injury halfway through the season and that was the start of a carousel of guys at quarterback over the final six weeks of the season. Matt Schaub played in two games before suffering an injury of his own. Jimmy Clausen, who picked up on waivers after the Bears released him, started two games as well. Then it was Ryan Mallett‘s turn, another player who was cut by a team earlier in the season, to finish out the year.

They say the quarterback is the most important position in football. That also means winning and losing rests on the shoulders of who is under center. The Ravens quarterback did not do enough to win and it showed in the 5-11 record.

We did learn a lot about this team once Flacco went down. His value to the team is unquestioned. The question of whether he is elite or not is one of the amusing debates surrounding him. Does it matter? He has done nothing but win in his career and the Ravens found out first hand how difficult it is to win without their franchise quarterback.

The total grade for the offense on the season was a ‘D’ and that’s because the Ravens were not ready in the event that Flacco went down with injury. They struggled to score points without their leader on offense. Let’s begin our grades with the richest player in franchise history.
