Jaguars vs Ravens: Interview with St. Augustine Radio WSOS 99.5

I will have the privilege to join Mike Lischio on Lischio Live Radio of St. Augustine Radio WSOS 99.5 FM this evening to discuss the Week 10 matchup between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Baltimore Ravens.

In our discussion, Mike and I discuss the current state of both teams  as they prepare for the second half of the NFL season. Each team will enter the contest with a 2-6 record, but find themselves in very different circumstances the rest of the way.

The Jaguars will come to M&T Bank Stadium with an identical record, but are very much alive in the race for the AFC South. Jacksonville find themselves just two games back of the first-place Indianapolis Colts (4-5), who revealed yesterday that quarterback Andrew Luck will miss time with a lacerated kidney and a partially torn abdominal muscle. That could give Blake Bortles an opportunity to get his team a division title in just his second NFL season.

The Ravens haven’t been afforded the same fortune. The Cincinnati Bengals have basically already won the AFC North with their 8-0 start so the only chance of Baltimore making the playoffs is securing one of the wild card spots. The team is confident they can run the table, but that would mean they would need to play flawless football down the stretch. If you have watched how this team has played all season long, there is little to make you think they can make that historic run.

This is an important game for both teams in desperate need for a win to keep any playoff dreams alive. Mike and I give our take on what to expect on Sunday and the remainder of the 2015 season for each team.
