The Maryland football team bounced back from an embarrassing Week 2 loss to Bowling Green, knocking off the South Florida Bulls this past Saturday. The Terps still have plenty to improve upon, but for the time being, they are on the right path. New faces emerged for Maryland and in turn, have earned themselves their first helmet stickers for the season.

3 Stickers: CB Sean Davis (3)

The senior was picked on against Bowling Green, but he rebounded with a dominating performance against USF. When the Terps got torched in Week 2, Davis was one of the primary scapegoats for the loss. But, as the leader that he is, he accepted the challenge and came back stronger the following week. He picked off two passes, the first Terp to accomplish such feat in a single game since Dexter McDougle.

2 Stickers: DE Roman Braglio (2)

Coming into this season, Braglio was projected to be one of the breakout players for Maryland. However, the McDonough School product came out of the gates a little slow. But, he made his impact felt on Saturday, compiling two of Maryland’s six sacks on the day. He also recorded seven total tackles. The junior is really starting to come into his own and will be a key component moving forward.

1 Sticker: QB Caleb Rowe (1)

In his first start of the season, Rowe had to endure a roller coaster of emotions. One minute he was up, the next he was down. Although he threw three interceptions and fumbled twice (both of which were recovered by Maryland), Rowe tossed four touchdowns and solidified his place as the starting quarterback.

3 Stickers: LSU RB Leonard Fournette

Fournette went absolute ‘Beast Mode’ on Auburn Saturday. Fournette racked up 228 yards and three touchdowns on only 19 carries. It was almost a record-setting performance. It’s pretty safe to say that Fournette is the Heisman Trophy frontrunner at this point in the season.

2 Stickers: Georgia QB Greyson Lambert

The Virginia transfer put together a near flawless game against South Carolina. Lambert completed 24-of-25 pass attempts, setting an NCAA record for completion percentage in a game. He finished the day with 330 passing yards and three scores.

1 Sticker: Northwestern LB Anthony Walker

Just like his upstart football team, Walker continues to impress. The sophomore linebacker has been a driving force on defense for the Wildcats and he had a monster game against Duke, totaling 19 tackles. He was all over the field, helping to stop an pretty potent offense.
