Baltimore Ravens Week 15 Injury Report

The Baltimore Ravens will be facing their easiest challenge of the season in Week 15. Not only will they be going up against the 2-11 Jacksonville Jaguars, but they will be playing the game on their home turf.

There is absolutely no reason that the Ravens should not win this game, and I don’t feel there is really any chance of them losing it. They must win out to even have a shot at winning the AFC North division, and that starts with this game against the lowly Jaguars.

Injuries shouldn’t impact the Ravens too much either. Check them out right here:

Torrey Smith is PROBABLE

Initially, Smith was listed as doubtful for this game. His status has now been updated to probable, which obviously makes a huge difference. He sat out of practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but was a full participant in Friday’s.

Evidently Smith will be game-time decision. He is nursing a sprained knee that he suffered two weeks ago against the San Diego Chargers. If he were to miss this game, it would be his first game to ever have to sit out since he came into the league in 2011.

“I’m not used to it. I’m not really used to missing practice,” Smith said. “I don’t really like it too much, but I have to get healthy and have to make the right decision. Obviously, I’m not going to make that decision today. We’ll see what happens on Sunday.”

Michael Campanaro might play

Rookie wide receiver Michael Campanaro might play for the first time since Week 9 against the Cincinnati Bengals. He suffered a hamstring injury in that game, and he has been absent for the past five games. This week however, he was not listed on the injury report at all.

“I think I have a good chance to play this week. I can definitely go out there and help contribute this week,” Campanaro said. “I think it just depends on which receivers are [activated] and which receivers are down.”

Questionable: RB Lorenzo Taliaferro, TE Crockett Gillmore

I have been screaming for rookie Lorenzo Taliaferro to get some more carries for a good two months now. He finally received seven last week and did well with them; but unfortunately, he might not see the field to continue his increased action today.

Ravens fans might get more opportunities to see Phillip Supernaw on the field this week. Gillmore, who missed last week’s game due to an injured back, might miss this week’s game as well. Although the back has improved, he is still questionable to play.

As for Jacksonville, they have ruled out three players. Those three are as follows: Starting running back Denard Robinson, defensive end Andre Branch, and linebacker Khairi Fortt.
