Taking a Look at Other AFC North Matchups

facebooktwitterreddit

Although the Baltimore Ravens will not be seeing the field in Week 11, the three other teams from the AFC North division will be playing.

At 1:00, the Cleveland Browns will host the Houston Texans while the Cincinnati Bengals will travel to New Orleans to take on the same Saints team that the Ravens will face next week on Monday Night Football.

Speaking of Monday Night Football, that slot will be occupied by the Pittsburgh Steelers this week, who will travel to The Music City to take on the Tennessee Titans.

Quite obviously, Ravens fans will be rooting against each of these teams, but which teams have the best chance of actually falling?

  • At first, this looks like a simple question. The Bengals are travelling to The Big Easy to take on Drew Brees, one of the best quarterbacks in the game. And although the Saints have struggled a bit through the first ten weeks of this season, facing them in New Orleans is always an extremely tough task.

With that being said, I still think that the Cleveland Browns have the likeliest chance of losing this week. The reason I say that is this: The Browns currently hold a record of 6-3 which is tops in the AFC North. They have to lose eventually and they will be facing a very mediocre team in the Houston Texans.

The odds are against Cleveland this week, and I am predicting them to fall short at home against Houston this week.

As for the Steelers, they might be facing a 2-7 team, but the Titans have always seem to hand them some trouble. And on top of that, this will be a road game for Pittsburgh, which is always tough. However, I still think they will find a way to pull this thing out, but it won’t be as easy as you might believe.

In conclusion, I think that Cincy will pull out a huge victory in The Big Easy, Pittsburgh will sneak by Tennessee, and Cleveland will fall to the 4-5 Houston Texans at home. Enjoy the bye week everyone!
