Grades can seem highly subjective, so in these midseason grades for the Baltimore Ravens, I want to be very clear about my system. Indeed, there is a method to the madness.

I will be grading based on how much a certain player lived up to expectations. A player who met expectations would get a B, a player who exceeded them would get an A and players who have not met expectations would get a C or lower. Those who have not played a significant role are not graded.

With the system in place, here is a look at how the Baltimore Ravens have performed so far this season.
