Maryland Pride is a phrase that became the cornerstone of the re-branding effort when Kevin Anderson took over as the Director of Athletics at the University of Maryland.

“Maryland Pride is giving of yourself…” – Randy Edsall

We began seeing the Maryland flag used in the design of all of the Maryland sports teams.

Now, as Maryland ventures in to new territory in the Big Ten, I think Randy Edsall and his staff want to show that what they do at Maryland is bigger than just football.

You will also see the phrase By Any Means throughout this season. It’s the theme for Maryland Football this year.
