ACC who? It’s time to go B1G for the Maryland Terrapins!

Now that Maryland’s football and basketball seasons are officially over, we can now look towards life in the Big Ten.

Moving to a new conference brings changes. There will be changes in signage, changes in schedules, and also changes in uniforms.

In recent years, uniform changes are no surprise for Maryland athletics. Their uniform supplier Under Armour has completely overhauled all the athletic program’s teams with new uniforms that more prominently display “Maryland” for all to see.

Under Armour is always looking for an opportunity to get their name out there into the media. Think back to when they released the first Maryland Pride uniform for the football team back in 2011. For those from Maryland, it was a big hit. Everywhere else, it was seen as the worst uniform design ever.

No matter if you loved them or despised them, those uniforms got some attention on all the media outlets.

Maryland’s move to the Big Ten in the fall might bring minor changes such as B1G logos added to uniforms, but don’t be surprised if Under Armour does something B1G for it’s flagship school.

Check out the Maryland Pride 2.0 uniforms that now have the B1G logo on display.
